There are basically 5 major challenges facing internet business owners that I will be discussing today. Internet businesses such as blogging, affiliate marketing, Multi-level marketing, forex trading, info and own products marketing have suffered and seen little or no successes by many handlers as result of these challenges.

One may assume that providing solutions to these problems should be paramount and treated first in our today’s topic. But if I may ask, provide solution to which problem?

Is it the problems that you are yet to identify? Definitely there can be no solution to an un-identified problem but there are always solutions to the problems you know where they are emanating from.

This article highlights the major problems facing internet business owners. So for one to tackle a problem, you must first of all try to identify the problems before thinking of how to solve it. 

For example, a sick person most often goes for diagnosis or laboratory test first to identify the cause of the ailment before taking appropriate medication. Identifying your internet business problems first will enable you tackle it from the grassroots and which is the best approach to solving problems.

1. Lack of technical know-how – there are no doubt that many today, have jumped into or embraced internet businesses without adequate knowledge of what they are into. 

This factor has affected many internet business owners in the country and has left them achieving little or no success in the internet business world. Some have even embraced it out of frustration, while some do so out of what they merely heard from others and by so doing, they struggle seriously in the business to create their own bench mark.

It is in this factor of lack of technical know-how that “mentorship” now becomes one of the vital tools for internet business owners. No doubt that if you have a mentor in the internet business arena, one can attain success quickly. 

This is not to say that success cannot be attained without mentorship, just that it will have to be based on rigorous individual research without mentorship and not many will value or like to thread on that path.

But the sad thing here about mentorship is that most times it is very difficult to find a reliable mentor that will be willing and ready to sacrifice most of his time for you, as most of the internet business mentors are either too busy with their own online activities or some are just unwilling to mentor others because of some personal or other reason, and so beginners that embraced internet business usually have to pay through their nose to get such a willing mentor.

2. Lack of Capital (Finance) – This challenge encompasses all forms of businesses. Inadequate capital to finance your internet business in order to quickly take it to the next level has become one of the major challenges and cause of low output by internet business owners. 

One may argue that some of the internet businesses require little or even no capital to run, but the fact remains that with adequate capital, you can easily push your internet businesses to another level and attain the desired result faster. You need capital to get yourself constantly connected to the internet, you need capital to increase your online marketing strategies through advertisement and other means, you need capital to host and run your webpages as the case may be.

3. High cost of internet data bundles and poor internet services – This is a peculiar case and not every region are affected, but if you are in this part of the world, you will have a better understanding of this challenge. 

The cost of internet bundle subscription is rather high, and the sad one is that even after subscribing to these high cost internet data bundles, you are most times still offered poor internet services by the major internet network providers in the country. 

Poor internet services can be frustrating most times and it reduces the efficiency of internet businesses, as some task you are supposed to complete immediately and forge ahead, but rather you struggle to complete just a single task as a result of struggling with poor internet services that can make you work at a snail speed.

4. Lack of patient and get rich quick mentality – Who told you that Rome was built in a day? Off course no. In the internet business world, I want to mention here that patience is a virtue. You don’t expect to start today and start making millions tomorrow. 

But it is quite unfortunate that many internet business owners today lack this virtue, and that is simply why you see them online today, and tomorrow again you see them packing their baggage and telling you that it is not profitable. They kept crumbling in the business without making headway because of lack of patient.

Today, we have many that have delved into internet businesses because of what they merely heard from some folks out there and have allowed themselves to get saturated by those numerous SCAM sweet sounding messages that characterize the internet world today.

Those types of messages are unending whenever you scour the internet, and no doubt that most of them are enticing, but a sound knowledge of making money will let you know that nothing good comes that easy and those internet business owners that have built their mentalities towards those types of messages end up becoming quitters at the long run after little trial and no results as advertised or expected.

5. Lack of flexible online payment system – you cannot talk of online or internet businesses without mentioning or having a well secured medium of making and receiving payments. This challenge is also peculiar to some certain region. 

No doubt that today, Paypal has become the most successful, trusted and secure means of sending and receiving online payments, and to sum it all, the flexibility and ease of using Paypal cannot be over-emphasized when compared with other means of online payment.

As we all know, not every internet users are allowed to own a Paypal account, as there are some restrictions to certain region of the world from making use of Paypal.

Off course Paypal is not the only medium of online payment but not having Paypal slows down your internet business activities and no doubt put you at a disadvantage.
