Is Google Adsense overrated?
There are so
many ad network companies out there today that offers Pay per Click (PPC) and
Pay per Maximum Impression (PReM) ads services to publishers, such as Adsense, Media ads, Addynamo, Bidvertiser, Smowtion etc. as well as other similar companies offering related services such as Infolinks, Chikita, Luminate etc.
Pay per Maximum Impression (PReM) ads services to publishers, such as Adsense, Media ads, Addynamo, Bidvertiser, Smowtion etc. as well as other similar companies offering related services such as Infolinks, Chikita, Luminate etc.
Amongst these
ads networks providers one cannot doubt the fact that the most popular is
Google Adsense which has been considered as the most trusted and also the company
that pays its publisher better in terms of services rendered.
Adsense is
virtually 10years old, but when Google Adsense is mentioned till now, there are
lots of misconceptions surrounding it especially for those that knows just
little or nothing about Adsense or better still for those that have not made
use of it before.
And one of those biggest misconceptions about Adsense is that
at the mention of the name Google Adsense, webmasters that have not tasted it
before always sees it as an indispensable treasure that is the easiest and
fastest resource of making quick money online with. In fact they equate Adsense
to cash flow.
Those categories
of people seek for Adsense account by all means even when they are denied
approval several times by the almighty G, they keep on believing that the day
they will eventually get Adsense approval, that their online financial cravings
and worries will be all over and they will begin making cool cash.
But it is
quite unfortunate and very disappointing that at the long run and in most cases
those assertions are not what they eventually turn out to become even after
Adsense approval. After getting Adsense approval, that is when the reality
surfaces and they now know that not as a man thinketh that it always turns out
to become.

There are so
many webmasters that have gotten Adsense approval both in the past and of late
to serve Google ads on their blog/website, but have long abandoned their
Adsense account while some now even offer their long time cravings for sale.
The taste of
the pudding is said to be in the eating, I recently got testimonies from those
that are just receiving their first ever pay check (Bank transfer) from Adsense
after serving Google ads on their blogs for complete 5 years and not as if they
decided to place their account on hold, but it was the time it took them to
reach Adsense payment threshold which we know to be $100. For others, it took
the 3 years while for some they got theirs after the first 365days.

It was all
these recent testimonies that I heard and have read that now made me pose the
question on the topic today; Is Adsense
overrated?
You should
bear in mind that I am not posing this question or gearing this discussion to
discourage in any way those that have not tasted Adsense and are still seeking
for Adsense approval, but rather the picture that I am trying to paint here
will give you a concrete insight of what really to expect as you plan your
journey towards becoming Google ads publisher. “Remember to be fore warned is
to be fore armed”.

There are no
doubt too that there are webmasters out there that are really hitting it big with
Adsense, and as I write this, the single person that just pops up my mind is
the CEO and the brain behind Digital Inspiration in the person of Indian Amit Argawal, and there are so many out
there like him.
These categories
of people making it real big with Adsense I must tell you did not just have a
mere misconception of Adsense even
without Adsense account at onset, but rather their Adsense successes were as
results of them having perfect understanding of what they really needed to be
doing even before making use of Adsense. And again apart from having full
understanding it was also as a result of maximum work input that have lingered
over time.

So now you
see that the difference between you and them is that for them, they already
know what to do, what they want and where they are heading to even without
Adsense, but for you even with Adsense already at hand, you still don’t know
what to do with it simply because you failed to fix up your home long before
you got Adsense approval.
Little wonder many dump their Adsense account and even end up quitting blogging at the long run when the money fails to come within short period of Adsense implementation. Do manner still fall from heaven? “Quitters never win and winners never quit”

Finally,
even as Adsense being seen as far better resource of making money with than
those other ads network providers above, Adsense is by no means or in any way
tantamount to financial freedom or cash flow. Unless you put maximum effort to
what you are doing out there online and bear in mind of time factor and also
with high level of patience just as most offline job, you will not make a
living with Adsense.

In some sense, yes adsense is overrated! It doesn't mean financial freedom as a lot of people would want to believe.
ReplyDeleteEarning money from adsense or making a constant earning from this ad network may be impossible if value is not created by the blogger.
For many that have 'admirable' testimonies to share about adsense, we get to see their commitment to value and consistent quality delivery!
