See The Prices Jumia Is Selling Gionee Marathon M5, And You Will Almost Faint!

I thought it was only Konga that allows sellers on their platform to sometimes showcase smartphone prices at outrageous rate, and not knowing that Jumia has equally joined the queue.

Sometimes I don’t really understand the motives behind all these outrageous prices been seen on Konga and Jumia on some of their items especially on smartphones.

To me, this strategy or whatever they may call is seriously killing their businesses, as one can no longer use their platform to know the real cost of those phones.

These outrageous prices sometimes scare people away from their platforms and I think it is high time Konga and Jumia started regulating the prices that sellers are willing to display items on their sales site.

Recall the monstrous battery Gionee Marathon M5 that was launched some few months ago and that the launch price stood somewhere around $260 (N52,000).
