How To Resolve First Bank (Mobile App) Account Debit Issues On Un-credited Airtime Recharge Transactions Without Going To The Bank
In this jet
age, mobile banking is becoming more prominent than ever and one can now carry
out virtually any type of banking transaction with bank mobile apps all at the
comfort of their home.
However,
since the mobile banking technologies are man-made; do not expect perfect
transactions all the time as sometimes as result of network issues or other
factors, some transactions made through mobile banking apps can fail.
In addition
to the banking services that you can carry out through mobile banking platforms,
you can also carry out mobile airtime e-recharges on any of the 4 major GSM
networks in the country.
Now, one of
the major problems that people do sometimes encounter while trying to purchase
airtime through their mobile banking app is failed transactions that will have
their account debited but without their GSM lines being credited with the amount
of airtime requested.
Most times,
these types of errors are as result of network glitches either coming from the
banks directly or the third party GSM provider’s partner platform.
And just as
we have stated, these errors are sometimes expected and when it occurs, it
shouldn’t take you unaware or you shouldn’t see it as something strange, and
rather the most important thing is the responds from the bank in resolving the
issue timely and proactively when the matter is reported.
As the topic
suggests, today we are going to be dealing with how you can resolve similar
issues with First Bank and get your bank account credited back without
necessary going to the bank.
Now for
those of you using the First Bank FirstMobile app on your devices, if you have
ever encountered the issue described above, where you are trying to recharge
your GSM line with the FirstMobile app and you got your First Bank account
debited without your line being credited as exptected, here are the simple
steps to take to get back your money without stepping an inch;
·
Send
a mail to firstcontact@firstbanknigeria.com
·
In
the mail detail what happened
·
Still
in the mail, include the entire debit transaction
message that you might have received on your cell phone
·
Also
include your First Bank account name
and account number in the message
and finally send out your mail.
Within few
minutes or few hours you will get a warm reply notifying you that your issue
has been forwarded to the appropriated e-unit.
And after
some time thereafter, you should get a reversal alert message from your bank
and you will notice that the exact amount that was debited would have been
credited.
