Konga Is Losing It All By Doing This On Delivery Of Multiple Items Purchase!
One of
Nigeria’s biggest online shopping stores Konga is definitely about to lose it
all by going against the rules of delivery of multiple items purchase made on
their platform.
Do you
believe that Konga now knows nothing again about consolidation of multiple
items before delivery as they now charge full and separate delivery fees on
each of the multiple items you buy on their site?
But when
Konga now charges full and separate delivery fees on each of the multiple items
you purchase on their platform, what will now be the aim of some shoppers who
shop for multiple items to take advantage of reduced price that consolidated
multiple items is supposed to offer?
In the past
we have also been shopping for multiple items on a single purchase on Konga
platform and it wasn’t this way, as you normally leverage on delivery fee by
doing so.
So whoever gave
Konga that idea recently of charging full and separate delivery fees on multiple
items made on single purchase should know that competition is very high
currently and if Konga continues this way, their customers will have no other
option than switching to buying from other stores like Jumia, Slot etc.
Imagine we recently
wanted to buy 3 separate items from Konga on a single purchase; one is phone
battery for N3,800 the other is a pair of jean trouser for N3,500 and the third
is USB data cable for N700 and when we were about to check out, we noticed that
Konga has added N1,000 each on the items as delivery fee, totalling N3,000 for
the delivery charges and that was how we quickly terminated our order.
Would you
have gone ahead with the purchase if you were in my shoes?

This is unbelievable from Konga! Last week, I bought Wiko slide 2 phone from them and was charged 750 for delivery fee. To me,that amount is reasonable. But charging exorbitant fee on separate items bought from them,like the ones you mentioned above, is too bad. May be they've forgotten that human beings are rational beings who always prefer the best alternatives. If care is not taken,Konga may experience what happened to mtn recently.
