OMG! See What Huawei Is Planning In The Next 5 Years

The current 3^rd world and the largest Chinese smartphone manufacturer has rose to prominence in the smartphone market arena this few years and the position they currently occupy is simply due to hard work  coupled with judicious investments over the years that paid off and is still paying.

Little wonder did Google seek for Huawei ingenuity in the manufacture of one of their latest and prestigious Nexus devices, the Huawei Nexus 6P.

Aside the Huawei Nexus device, the Huawei Mate series, Huawei Ascend  and P9 devices are only but few of Huawei high end devices that can compete with products from other great smart smartphone OEM.

But now, one can argue that Huawei’s next mission or where the Chinese brand wants to see themselves in the next 5 years is quite lofty.

It might appear lofty but definitely not impossible as Huawei is planning to put all their weapons together to see that they topple the likes of Samsung and Apple in the smartphone business within the next 5 years.

What a remarkable target and an awesome projected goal if you ask me for a company that has achieved so much in just few years and have succeeded in making themselves with their mobile products forces to reckon with in the mobile technology market.

According to Richard Yu, the companies head of consumer electronic business, he believes that being on top Samsung and Apple is an achievable feet.

He added further that Huawei wants to be the number one smartphone maker in the world; acknowledging that it is a mammoth and distant task, but he however insisted that the company has the patience.

Currently, Huawei’s global mobile market share stood at 8.3% adrift that of Samsung that is about 23% and Apple’s 15%.

In the first quarter of 2016, Huawei has already recorded some significant growth in their product sales as against that of Apple and Samsung that seems quite stagnated since last year.

Finally it is reported the company has invested $9.2billion in research and development of newer products and in their quest to pursue their target, they hope to achieve it by consolidating on more high-end products.
