MY Airtel 1.5GB Night Data Plan Subscription Failed But Airtel Deducted My N50 Credit, Come In For Help
We have
noticed that ever since Airtel introduced the N50 for 1.5GB night data plan, it
has been marred with lots of issues and many airtel subscribers have often
complained that whenever they tried to subscribe to the night data plan, that
airtel will deduct their N50 credit without subscribing them into the plan.
And the
worst of it is that thereafter, any attempt to get airtel to refund their
deducted credit, it has always proved abortive as Airtel customer assistants
will only promise them that the matter would be looked into but at the end
their credits are never refunded.
It is quite disheartening
that such misdemeanours still happens in our telecom industries from those GSM
network operators and the regulatory bodies in charge to checkmate such
occurrences are not doing enough thus the network operators continue getting away with such petty crimes.
I know
because I was sometimes a victim to this particular illegal deduction without
being allotted any night data bundle we intended to subscribe; and at the end,
we were never refunded even after we laid series of complaints.
While it is
only but few Airtel subscribers that are using the airtel N50 for 1.5GB night
plan without issues, a handful of others have experience such deductions
without any refund and data allocation, even when they are actually on Airtel
SmartTrybe that is supposedly the right tariff plan for the 1.5GB night data
plan.
Well,
without wasting time, since we have gotten some sort of way out on how to properly
subscribe to the Airtel N50 for 1.5GB that will prevent the illegal deduction
but will get you subscribed into the plan, we are going to be dropping that
right away.
Now, if you
are already on Airtel SmartTribe tariff plan and you still encounter such
problem that anytime you want to subscribe for the Airtel N50 for N1.5GB night
data plan, your airtime is often deducted without any data allotted to you,
here is what you be doing from now on anytime that you want to subscribe for
the plan;
Regardless
that you are already in Airtel SmartTrybe tariff plan, any new night that you
want subscribe for the data plan, you should make sure that you migrate to
SmartTrybe again by dialling the migration code before subscribing.
I.e. often dial
*312# and reply with 1 each night when you want to subscribe
for the Airtel N50 for 1.5GB night plan.
By so doing,
your N50 airtime will be deducted and 1.5GB will be allotted to your line.
Yes, you
will not be charged for each same Airtel SmartTrybe to SmartTrybe migration.
And finally
after exhausting your data that same night and you want to subscribe again
during that night, you no longer need to migrate to Airtel SmartTrybe again;
you only migrate once every night before initial subscription.

Deleteairtel has issues jare. their network is poor in my location. also I noticed that that airtel 6gb for N1500 is throttled. it zaps data
