MTN Wipes Out Free 750MB And 120Minute Prestige Reward, With Ridiculous Claims
Few days ago, MTN started rewarding what it deemed their loyal customers with free 750mb of data and 120minute of call time as part of the MTN Prestige reward anniversary program, and that offer was meant to carry a validity period of 7 days.
But surprising to many, within 1 to 3 days that the offers were made, MTN insensitively started wiping off the data and call time reward even when customers are yet to exhaust their bonuses, and the most ridiculous of all is that MTN claimed that those rewarded were rewarded in error even when all parameters that MTN themselves set for eligibility purely indicates that the said customers were loyal enough and duly qualify to receive the prestige award.
It was clearly stated by MTN that for customers to qualify for the Prestige anniversary reward, that customers would at least be on the lowest level of qualification, which is the Bronze level, and for customers to be on the Bronze level, one of the two requirements that automatically qualifies subscribers is to having stayed on the MTN network for not less than 10years.
And by the survey that we carried out, we noticed that most of the recently rewarded MTN customers at least qualify for the Prestige award on that base of having attained the Bronze level of prestige as described by the qualifying factor given above.

With this latest act from MTN, we are forced to align our thoughts with those out there that see MTN as a Telecom that rewards its loyal customers with right hand and goes behind to withdraw the reward with left hand.
Finally, having seen how MTN is currently wiping off the MTN Prestige reward, if your reward is yet to be wiped, it will be wise for you to try and quickly exhaust your 750MB and 120minute call time bonus, because MTN is definitely coming for you.
