KIA motors “The power to surprise”
KIA, the
South Korean second-largest auto-mobile manufacturer with slogan, “the power to
surprise” has continued to spring surprises with every new model released into
the market.
But the
ultimate surprise is Kia’s entry into the luxury car segment with the Cadenza
and Quoris, two cars that have earned Kia high respect in the industry.
While the Quoris is competing in the top end luxury car segment, the
Cadenza has settled in the business class, parading features that have never
been made standard in this car category before.
Confident
that the cars can beat all competitions, Kia is offering five years warranty on
them, which is unprecedented in the nation’s auto industry. No other auto maker
has gone beyond three years warranty.
The Kia
Cadenza is one of the newest additions to Kia family in Nigeria and has set a
new benchmark in auto-mobile technology.
Powered by a
new Lambda II 3.5 litre V6 gasoline engine, Cadenza generates a maximum power
of 290 ps at 6,600 rpm. This fuel efficient, lightweight power plant features
dual continuously variable valve timing, a silent timing chain system to
maximise noise and a variable intake system to maximise efficiency. A 6-speed
automatic transmission mated to this engine makes driving an exciting
experience.
Design with
luxury in mind, the Cadenza surpassed all expectations in performance, comfort
and safety. It is available with only one engine variant, a V6 power plant with
push button start/stop.
The touch of luxury radiates all over the car. Organ accelerator pedal, electric parking brake, premium sound system with a choice of three audio settings, in-dash six-CD changer integrated into the dashboard, panorama sunroof, leather seats, remote key-less entry system, puddle lamps on the underside of the rear mirrors which automatically lights up when the car detects the smart key approaching, outside door handle lights, and many more are some of the luxury touches on the Cadenza.

Spacious
interior of the Cadenza with well laid cockpit, garnished with good lightening,
all combine to give the interior luxury of the highest order and aura of
elegance.
Cadenza boasts of many safety features aimed at ensuring safety of both occupants and pedestrians. A rigid high-strength steel structure with reinforced side sills means energy is effectively absorbed and dispersed in the event of a collision.
The Brake Assist System deploys in an emergency situation, sensing brake pedal speed and applying increased pressure to ensure a shorter braking distance. Air-bags at the front and side offer protection for both driver and passengers.
