Nokia Lunches the New ASHA series, ASHA 501
Nokia launches the new generation of ASHA phones, the ASHA 501 which is based on the new generation of ASHA OS other than the old ASHA.
The new ASHA
501 is a cheap smart-phone that comes in two variant – The single and dual SIM.
It has a 2.8 inches capacitive touchscreen and the New ASHA OS is based almost
entirely on swipe gesture. Though without the 3G network, Nokia is working to
launch a 3G network ASHA phone in the nearest future.
The design
of the new ASHA 501 was inspired by the Lumia series according the Nokia CEO
Stephen Elop.
Built with popular apps like Facebook, Twitter, Zombies etc. it comes in different colours just like the Lumia. The battery life is long lasting and can last up to 17 hours of talk time. The price of the new AHSA 501 goes for about a $100.
