How to Use Airtel Unlimited (2GB) on your System Starting from 1st of July 2013
It is no
longer news that we have been enjoying the airtel blackberry internet
subscription plan on our PCs and other devices.
The most common blackberry plans which people use are the blackberry social one month plan that offer 1GB of data at the cost of #1,200 (Subscription code: send BSM to 440) and the blackberry complete one month plan which offers same 1GB of date at the cost of #1,400 (subscription code: send BCM to 440).
Till date, those two plans
mentioned above are still blazing like wide fire on system and other devices you
can think of as far as you can set up the Access Point Name (APN) to the normal
Airtel one which is internet.ng.airtel.com.

that you used to subscribe for the #1,500 blackberry unlimited plan.
The most common blackberry plans which people use are the blackberry social one month plan that offer 1GB of data at the cost of #1,200 (Subscription code: send BSM to 440) and the blackberry complete one month plan which offers same 1GB of date at the cost of #1,400 (subscription code: send BCM to 440).
The most
interesting part of it is that last month being June, Airtel decided to
introduce another blackberry plan known as blackberry unlimited, though called
unlimited, this very plan offers 2GB of data for one month and at the cost of
#1,500 (subscription code: dial *440*16#).
To embellish the whole thing, airtel
decided to allow some of their subscribers to enjoy additional benefit of free
bonus of extra month with an additional 2GB of data for same #1,500 blackberry
unlimited plan (subscription code: dial *440*161#), which means that with this plan,
some selected SIM are given 4GB of data to enjoy for 60 days with just #1,500.
As of last
month that the blackberry unlimited plan was introduced, one can still use it
to surf the internet on any device just the same way as other plans mentioned
above.
But it has come to notice that at the start of this new month of July, the blackberry #1,500 unlimited plans only connects seamlessly when used only on blackberry phones, that is to say it no longer connect just like that with other devices and on system.
The common complains that people give is that it connects, but without access to the internet, meaning that one can no longer browse with it just like that on a system.
If you want to continue enjoying your browsing with it on PC and other devices, just follow the simple step below and you will be able to browse again on your system without any more hitches;

How's this going 2 work? What if it doesn't work? U'll be a big liar isn't? blind leader of the blind. Cos I wonder how u can subscrib 10mb while already on a plan? Migration is not allow as we all know. So convince me otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem you had was just failing to follow instructions or doing what you saw first before complaining. The 1500 subscription is for blackberry, then the 10mb is for normal airtel bundle subscription, so the both are different package, that is why it is possible. Enjoy your surfing
ReplyDeleteI think my airtel sim 's been blocked. I used the tweak above , and it worked. I browsed for 2 days. But yestday when i put the sim in my fone, it said ''sim registration failed''. I've changed the sim to another fone, i've done evrythin. Its still same thing. Plz what do I do.?

DeleteHave u registerd ur SIM? Registration failed could either mean u have been deactivated 4rm d Airtel network or your SIM hav mechanical damage, since u said dat u hav put it in difrent phones. If u ar sure dat u hav registered d SIM, then SIM swap wil most likely be the next tin 2 do, otherwise it wil be dat Airtel deactivated ur SIM bcos u have failed 2 regista it

ReplyDeleteyes, but this time around, you no longer need the second stage for it to work, but if by any means after the first stage and it is not connecting, then proceed to the second stage. It will definitely work

DeleteI loaded d #1500 plan on my ipad n it worked 4 some minutes n stopped. So I loaded d 10mb as I shud hav done buh it just wudnt work on my ipad. Wat shud I do?

ReplyDeleteYou can log in to your 2go with your opera with the 80mb easily. It most probably be a temporal network issue. But if the phone that you are using can support the 3G network and if you are in 3G network area, I suggest you switch your phone to the 3G network, because it has been observed that the Airtel network works better with 3G network, because sometimes the 2G network is easily affected

Airtel just upgraded their data services, I strongly doubt if this would continue working afterwards!
ReplyDeleteMost times action speaks better than doubts, also upgrading of services don't necessarily mean that a particular service wants to be taken down but it is mostly done to maintain or even improve on the available services. For now there is no cause for alarm, I jst renewed my subscription 30minutes ago and I got my usual 4GB of data and I am currently using it without any hassle. Hope your fear is allayed

ReplyDeleteYah it also has issue as your data will still be drained as if water was poured into a basket. You don't really need a daily plan for it anyway

ReplyDeleteIt is still working but the issue still remains that they still zap data and it doesn't last again. And again, there are many irregularities befalling airtel BIS for now, so I suggest you port to MTN night plan for now, I will also provide all the necessary support to you to make it browse all day on both your Android and PC
