Microsoft battles Apple and Samsung phone makers by planning Nokia take over at the cost of $7.26billion
It was a
resounding revelation last night by Microsoft on its latest move on the acquisition
of the once-before-greatest-phone-manufacturers ‘Nokia’ at the estimated cost
of $7.2billion.
This was in a bid to redeem back the lost image of this phone company which many have described as a sinking ship.
In 1998, it was a reality that Nokia rose to become the largest mobile phone maker in the world, but due market instability and the emergence of other powerful phone makers, competition became so high and they could no longer hold on but rather ceded the giant time to their greatest rival Samsung.

Microsoft also
in a bid to diversify its operations as a famous software producer is keying
into this deal of acquiring Nokia in other to compete as one of the world
famous device and servicing company. It could be noted, that this is not the
first time that Microsoft is partnering with Nokia.
Since 2011, Microsoft have already partnered with Nokia, which led Nokia to drop down their then famous Symbian platform to embrace the Microsoft Window.
With the Microsoft window,
there was obvious lift in Nokia’s image from their already dwindling homemade
platform.
But this push up, did not still bring them into the number one position as top manufacturers, but as many will say that it just prevented the extinction and annihilation of the Nokia Company.

Looking at this
move made by Microsoft, one could easily deduce that a lot of work still needs
to be done in their whole transformational agenda and in order to stay relevant
in the phone manufacturing industries.
Currently, at the mention of the top 5 phone makers in the world, I doubt if Nokia still have a position to pick. On the article titled Nokia Tablet, it was one of the current moves made by Nokia in a bid to salvage their image, not until now that Microsoft is now taking control.

No doubt
that Microsoft is seen and known as one of the greatest company when it comes
to software development, and it is in that vein that they are occupying the top
spot with their famous Window operating system.
But the question left here, is how well they will fare in this ever dynamic hardware device industries where we have the likes of Apple, Samsung and even Blackberry, and especially now that the world is witnessing a serious shift from PC world to mobile devices such as tablets, i-pads and phones.

People have
also have also described this take over move as clash among the titans,
Microsoft + Nokia, Apple, Samsung and Blackberry. But for me, only time will
tell who remains top or who goes top.
