Finally Blackberry gradually rolls out BBM on android and i-phones
Barely a month ago when blackberry initially announced the rolling out of what many
considers as Blackberry most treasured apps, BBM on android and i-phones, so many
android and iphone owners were thrown into agog by such announcement, to the
extent that millions of android and iphone users went ahead to download the
unofficial BBM aps.
But after the announcement by blackberry and the initial date set for the BBM to become functional on said platforms was reached, blackberry came up again stating that they were facing challenges and therefore will no longer be able to meet up on that date, and so for that reason they suspended the move and shifted it forward.

Later on, they went ahead to put up another date on an official site bbm.com created for the proper update, pertaining the BBM aps and the official date that it will finally be made functional and available for download for android and i-phone users.

Before now, if you visit bbm.com, you will see the new arrival date for BBM on other platforms clearly stated to be on 22nd of October 2013 for the android version and this is mainly for the Samsung android only, then they went ahead to mention that in 3 days’ time being 25th October 2013 the BBM app will be fully available for other android phones and i-phones respectively.
The good
news here is that 22nd October 2013 has come and even gone and low and
behold some android users have started attesting to the fact that they have
succeeded in downloading the official BBM apps to their devices and have even
started using it to connect with their friends and loved ones who have since been using the BBM on their BlackBerrys.
Though some
have succeeded in making use of the BBM already, while others are lamenting of
their inability to make use of it yet on their android phones and tablet.

only be made available for those running android version 4.0 and above i.e. the
Ice cream sandwich (ICS), Jelly bean and the new kitkat android versions, and
