With the way technology has advanced in recent times, with just your smartphone now and some passion for the art, you can also capture exceedingly high resolution images in a professional manner.

Also, Google
recently launched the Google camera app in its Playstore with amazing features
that can easily enable you take high quality snapshots and videos with your
smartphone just the same way as a pro photographer.
The Google
camera app allows you snap quick and easy photos and videos with lot of its artistic
image modes like Panorama, Lens Blur, photo sphere and other advance camera
modes. It has a large capture button with an easy to navigate setting menu.

The Panorama
mode, just same with those in professional cameras is for high resolution image
capture, while the lens blur mode provides a minor depth of field to images to
make them look as if they were taken with a single-lens reflex camera.
On the other hand, the photosphere mode is for capturing of solid image that gives a 3D look.

The camera
app also has another image feature known as 100 percent viewfinder which gives
maximum resolution of images from the sensor without losing any pixel.
Then for the
video mode, the app has series of animation effect which is usually activated
when the device is held vertically.
The Google
camera app runs on smartphone and tablets with android 4.4 Kit Kat, and so one
phone that immediately comes to mind when this app is being mentioned is the
nexus device, though we know that many recent devices too have been made to run
the 4.4 Kit Kat OS and will be good enough to try out the recently launched camera app.

is this different than the normal Android google camera app? I didn't see any separately titled camera, and all phones already come with a camera app.
