Adsense change of account address prohibited?

For those that have been operating Adsense account for a while now, you might have known certain Adsense account settings parameters that can be edit easily. Parameters like Payee name, Address, phone numbers and the rest, by just going to the account settings section of your Adsense account and clicking at the small edit word next to each parameter.

For now I am not really generalizing, but if you have been observant recently just as I appear to be in this case, since the new Adsense account home page (dashboard) was introduced (although still optional at this level), there are no longer provision for changing of home/work address.

If you now click on the settings icon to edit some of your account parameters, you will no longer see your address appear with the edit option.

But what I cannot categorically tell at this point is whether it is a new or changed policy from Adsense or if it is just some minor bug that will be fixed in due time.

If my observation is completely true, what that entails is that you can no longer edit your address and what I am thinking now is for the new Adsense account holders that prior to now have not verified their account address and are still waiting for the arrival of the verification PIN at the address on their account, but for one reason or the other have relocated and need to change their Adsense account address to their present location.

What will now be their fate or how will they now go about it?

Though speaking from few complaints by Adsense account holders and personal observation, I don’t know if it is a general or regional issue.

I put up this piece because I thought it will be a wonderful idea for many to confirm and give feedback to really examine what the cause could be or if it was a deliberate act from the Adsense team. Or if you know other helpful method that can be used to achieve that i.e. use in changing Adsense account address, it will be helpful to those that are just starting out and for general knowledge.
