Blackberry awakening with Blackberry Windermere as the next flagship device long after Z30
The last
flagship device heard or seen from the embattled smartphone company blackberry
was the Z30 launched in the last quarter of 2013. But strongly determined to
stay in business and remain competitive in the ever dynamic smartphone
technologies, rumours currently making the rounds are the leaked specifications
of blackberry next flagship device code named Windermere.
The Windermere
is said to feature a wide 4.5 inch display with 1440 X 1440 full HD LCD resolutions
giving it a pixel density of 453 dpi. Slightly breaking away from modern convention
of full and total capacitive touch screen devices, the new smartphone is said
to be coming with both touchscreen feature and small keyboard designed to still
give an alternative and precise typing experience.
The back of
the device features a powerful 13MP camera set to produce the best ever images
captured with a blackberry device. With portability and hold ability in mind,
the phone is built with a stainless steel frame which makes it very light.

Now with the
blackberry Windermere, one of the major complains or issues often raised by blackberry
users will now be a thing of the past as the Windermere will be equipped with a
powerful, slim and efficient 3450mAh battery capable of withstanding 24hours of
heavy usage.
The question
left in the mouth of many as the blackberry Windermere gears up for launching
is “Will the blackberry Windermere restores the almost lost glory of the former
RIM smartphone company? I want to answer by saying ‘only time will tell’.
