Etisalat hourly browsing data plan
So many
people have contacted me recently to ask if etisalat has hourly data browsing plan
just like that of MTN.
And I discovered that the reason behind this recent enquiry was as a result of seeking better and cheaper alternative to airtel BIS since Airtel BIS now zaps data quickly.
And I discovered that the reason behind this recent enquiry was as a result of seeking better and cheaper alternative to airtel BIS since Airtel BIS now zaps data quickly.
I want to
mention that by seeking Etisalat as the next alternative browsing bus stop is perfectly
a step in the right direction, because I have personally confirmed that out of
the four major network providers offering internet services in the country,
that etisalat browsing network stability and speed in most location can’t be
compared to those other three networks.
Yes presently etisalat has the fastest browsing network in the country.
Yes presently etisalat has the fastest browsing network in the country.
To answer
their questions, I told them that yes etisalat has a package for hourly
browsing, but it is quite strange that lots of people knew absolutely nothing
about this etisalat hourly browsing package.
The package
simply known as Etisalat PayG stands for Etisalat Pay As You Go browsing
package.
You can read: Beware of poor internet connectivity; it can make you go mad and feelyour system just malfunctioned
When subscribed to the plan, you are charged N15 for each 5min you spend browsing, and the good thing here is that you browse completely unlimited without any form of data cap in each of the 5min session that you spend browsing.

Questions
that will likely arise now are after
= =>after
every 5 minute session spent during browsing will there be network
disconnection?
= =>What
if you are not connected to the internet will they still be deducting your
airtime?
I will answer
those questions simultaneously. As far as you have enough airtime on your SIM,
there will be no disconnection and if you are not connected in any way to the
internet, your credit balance will be intact.

If you are
in 3G enabled areas, you can even achieve huge downloads for each of the 5min
session. And when you put the 5min session of browsing together for 1hour you
will be spending a total of N180 for complete unlimited browsing and
downloading. Many have even reported of downloading file of up to 1 to 2GB
within an hour of being subscribed to the plan for just N180.
So if you
are game with this plan and want to subscribe into it, it is always advisable
you first of all deactivate any plan that you are currently in by dialing *229*0# and wait till you get a
deactivation confirmation message after which you can then activate the
Etisalat PayG plan by dialing *229*5*7#
and also wait to receive a welcome confirmation message, then you can now hit your
phone browser or you remove and insert your SIM into a modem, you can now
browse and download until you are tired of downloading or till your balance get
exhausted.
Now
comparing it with that of MTN 2 hour plan, you will notice that though for MTN
you are spending N250 for 2 hours when you send 2h to 131 in a text
message, but your data is limited and caped at only 150mb for the entire 2hours
while for that of etisalat PayG plan, for 2 hours you will be spending about
N360 but be rest assured that you are having an unlimited internet access to
yourself for that 2 hour period which gives whole lot of browsing and
downloading freedom and most preferable coupled with etisalat high speed
internet access.
