BBM latest version V2.2 for android released, Download now

Blackberry has just rolled out the first and latest updates of BBM for android, V2.2 with new and amazing features.

This version also promises fixes of some bugs encountered in the previous BBM for android version. The new features range from easier registration to new emoticons to easier befriending and also faster in receiving message updates.

For the signup process, it has been simplified that all you need now is to input your name, email address and password then you are done; I.e. no more rigorous registration processes.

On the emoticon aspect, new 16 BBM emoticons have been introduced in addition to the former ones; for example you now have a hacker emoticon and that of hotdog plus 14 other new ones.

Coming down to befriending others, adding new friends get even easier, all that is required is to receive or send out an invite mail, and for the person that receives it is just for him/her to click the email link and there you go you are now friends.

It also promises faster messaging updates even when BMM is closed and previously what were known as the update tab have been renamed feeds. In general you will have improved performance and error correction in this new version.

The BBM V2.2 for android has already made its way to Google play store, now you can also make your way to the store to download this latest version to your android. Then for Apple and Blackberry users, Blackberry has made us known that updated versions of BBM for those other devices will be available in the coming days.
