What and what can I do with my new Nigerian PayPal account?

Still on the birth of baby PayPal in Nigeria, and yes I believe that you are still overwhelmed with joy on the latest development.

But at this point even in your excitement, it is paramount to understand the Nigerian PayPal fully, i.e. on what type of transactions you can carry out with it.

Just as expected or as was earlier announced before PayPal arrival to Nigeria and 9 other countries, here are what you can do for now with your Nigerian PayPal;

=  =>PayPal Nigeria can only be used to make purchases/payments on merchant websites across the internet that accepts PayPal

= =>The only way to add fund to your account is just by attaching a credit/debit card(s) to it  and use the fund in the card for your purchases/payment on only merchant sites.

= =>You cannot receive fund into your Nigerian PayPal account both as an individual and as a seller i.e. for those that decided to open Nigerian PayPal business account other than personal account.

= =>You cannot send fund to both another Nigerian individual PayPal account and Nigerian business PayPal account. I.e. you can only send funds to other countries PayPal account that is eligible for receiving.

So that is all you have to know about Nigerian PayPal; the types of transactions you can carry with it and its limitations. At least you can now shop online on sites that accept PayPal.

I know that some are not contented with that and needed those limitations to be taken off, but what I have to say here is that it only gets better with time.
