How to roll over your MTN unused internet data bundle
You might
have known by now that MTN now allow rolling over of unused internet data bundle to next
subscription date.
As result of
many requests I have been receiving lately pertaining to users complaining of
not getting their previous unused data added to their new subscription after
expiration, I have decided to use this opportunity to clear the air on how MTN
data roll over works.
Without
wasting even a single time, let’s go straight to the business of the day.
It is
important to note first of all that MTN data roll over offer is only applicable
to MTN monthly data subscription plans, be it the MTN monthly night plan, monthly
daily plan or any other plans meant for 1 month duration.
Now, how you roll over your MTN
unused previous data plan into your new subscription?
To roll over
your MTN unused monthly data plan, all you have to do is for you to endeavour to
recharge your credit balance with the exact amount or more for the monthly plan
you were previously subscribed to before the expiration of your active monthly
plan.
By so doing,
when your active plan now expires, you will automatically be subscribed into a
new monthly plan and your unused previous data if any will automatically be
rolled over into the new subscription.
For example,
let’s say you subscribed for the monthly night plan of N2,500 on the 24th
of last month, for a rollover of unused data to be effect and incorporated into
your next subscription, you have to make sure that you have recharged at least N2,500
in your credit account balance before the 24th of this month which
your previous subscription is meant to expire.

Otherwise
any subscription made by you after the expiration of the previous month subscription
will not effect the rollover data and you will have to forfeit your previous
unused data.
If you are
happy with this piece, kindly use the comment box below to express yourself,
and don’t forget to share this with your friend so they too will be able to
recover their unused previous monthly MTN data.

so that means if you want to subscribe to a lower plan it wont work?
ReplyDeletePls does it also apply to those that makes use of share data plans?
ReplyDeleteNot applicable to data share
Deletewhat if u dont suscribe on the 24th of that next month
ReplyDeletelets say like you did two days later will it still rollover
No it will not roll over
DeleteUnused data will rollover, atleast once you subscribe with the same amount. It Doesn’t matter it expires before you subscribe or not. You can even buy data and subscribe after expiration of your data and the unused data will still rollover
DeleteCan you rollover data lets say from 2500 plan to 1000 plan?
ReplyDeletePlease what if from 5000 monthly data plan to 2000 monthly plan, will it roll over?
ReplyDeleteHow do I roll over extra value bonus data
ReplyDeletei have over 3ooomb pls how do i roll it over
ReplyDeleteWhat about if recharge the same day of expiration and less than the previous recharged amount, will it still be rollover?
ReplyDeleteI have 6000mb
ReplyDeleteSup for me please
DeleteWhat do I do
ReplyDeletePlease the codes to renew this subscriptions
ReplyDeleteThis is bad.. Finding it difficult to rollover
ReplyDeletePlease you can do more, let us assume that a customer subscribed to N2500 monthly bundle the previous month and could not exhaust the bundle and unfortunately could not afford to subscribe up the previous amount, what happens? Things are dangerously difficult now. Help us and improve on this system please.

ReplyDeleteIs he the owner of MTN?
DeleteHow can I use my roll over data
ReplyDeleteSo if one recharges a lower amount,it will not rollover. Nawaoh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. But, let’s say I have 5Gb unused data from my last sub of 3500 naira that’s due to expire today. Now, instead of recharging my line and waiting for auto renewal, I decided to do a fresh sub of the same amount. Will my 5Gb data still be rolled over?
ReplyDeleteSo i subscribe to 3500 monthly plan and it has expired and now I don't have such amount to subscribe with...I did 1500 that's means it wouldn't roll over?
ReplyDeleteCan i rollover from 2500 to 1000
ReplyDeleteCan I roll over my weekly unused data to the intending monthly data subscription? Thanks
ReplyDeleteHe asked for comments .questions are now asked ,he can't provide answers.
ReplyDeleteStop publishing contents and be asking for questions when you can't provide them
Perfect Job
ReplyDeleteSo if I subscribe weekly I can't rollover (*this is shit*)
ReplyDeleteAs you can see, fir the marketing purposes, no one will answer you this question. But the answer is obvious...it is I let applicable to the same plan...nit fir the subscription to a lower one. Nit too good though.
ReplyDeleteHow is this helpful? So if its 5thousand naira data I previously bought, I would have to subscribe for another 5thousand naira data to get rolled over data. If I had so much money y am I bothered about a rolled over data. MTN is just a thief, that doesn't go to jail. If mtn was a person i could easily access, I would hv hunted him or her down.
ReplyDeleteðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜I had 40gb and it remain 27gb now, trying to roll it over thought it will work with any amount but no no is not... MTN why?this rollover is not well set at all...
ReplyDeleteLets say I subscribed 75gb monthly.
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't have such amount to redo the subscription, can taking a less monthly subscription roll over the previous 75gb?
I did 300 for 1.5mb and mtn send me a message to roll over, will it work if I roll it over with that same amount of 300naira? Pls treat as urgent
ReplyDeleteLol y’all think mtn will answer. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThey will keep eating our money, we don’t have a government that even fights for its citizens right. America has one
Thank you for clarification. But why do u keep sending people roll over messages every morning as a reminder when u know the process expired after the day of subscription. What kind of reminder is that one for heaven sake. Just imagine someone like me who does weekly 1500 6gb and u are still sending me roll over reminder like 3 days after it expired what's this now.
ReplyDeleteWickedness! So if you don't have money to subscribe to the same amount your data will just go like that haba!
ReplyDeletethis is madness from mtn how you will be rubbing the masses in the name of data bundle.
ReplyDeleteFor instance if I subscribed 15000 150GB monthly subscription on the 24th and I have 5000 credit balance on the next month for 20GB can rollover work for me in that way pls
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand this is so difficult, why can't we rollover using codes to make it easier
