Airtel has finally stopped all the 4GB BIS 1+1 offer, whether your SIM is eligible or not
I have
received series of messages recently from different airtel subscribers, telling
me that they have the airtel eligible SIM i.e. the airtel SIM that gives them
4GB BIS data for 2 months and for N1500 which is contrary to the normal SIMs
that you can only get 2GB for 1 month and for the same price and plan, but that
they can no longer subscribed to the 4GB BIS plans with their eligible SIMs.
Airtel
recently has been working towards the stoppage of the BIS 1+1 offer ever since
the introduction of the new Airtel Android data plans, and they have succeeded in
putting an end to the offer as you can
no longer subscribe for the 4GB BIS plan with any SIM whether your SIM is
eligible or not.
This now put
everybody once again at par with the airtel SIM as you can only get 2GB on the
1 month airtel BIS plan that cost N1500 by using the subscription code *440*16#.

Again after
recently putting an end to the BIS 1+1 offer, airtel has also succeeded in
putting an end to unruly zapping of
airtel BIS data.
As you all
know that before now, that airtel zap BIS data at stupendous rate that even
with the 4GB, you can exhaust it within a space of 1 week without heavy
browsing and downloading.
Now, on
whether the airtel BIS data plans are still working on non-blackberry devices, I
want to tell you that you have no cause for alarm on that as you can still use
it on any device of your choice without any special tweaking, be it on android,
Apple or your PC.

All you need do is for you to make sure you set
up the airtel APN which remains internet.ng.airtel.com
on any intended device you want to make use of. And the best of all is that your
BIS data will now last for you just as with any other network.

thanks edwin but this airtel guys are bunch of scammers. i doubt their reversion to the old rate of data consumption
ReplyDeleteI guess you are still scared of them cos of the past excessive zapping of data which they made us pass through for couple of months. You can try them out with that of N100 if you wanna confirm it.
