Google Nexus 6 Motorola and the latest android OS, Android L slated for last quarter of the year
We
want to start by flashing you back with the last Google Nexus device, the Nexus 5 that was unveiled on the last
day of October 2013. How many of your remembered?
Finally, with the understanding the Nexus 6 device might be unveiled in later part of the year; it put to an end the earlier rumours about Google plan to discontinue the Nexus line of devices.
The
Nexus devices have always being one peculiar device that garners so much
attention whenever it is mentioned, and maybe this is as result of the giant
internet mover and the owners of Android Open Source platform Google being the brain behind the
devices.
Before
the unveiling of the Nexus 5 last year and also as a result of the weight and
crowd-pulling potentials of the Nexus devices, the Nexus 5 last year won for
itself the title of the most leaked phone of that year.
Also,
another crown that was added to the head of the Nexus 5 device is that it
became the first ever phone to launch the current latest android OS, the
Android Kit Kat.

Google
has partnered different companies in the past for the production of the Nexus
line of devices, and the last company it partnered with to produce the Nexus 5
was LG which codenamed the device
Nexus 5 device Hammerhead.
Drifting
away from the Nexus 5 into the main topic of the day, rumours have being
seriously making the round since the beginning of this year about the next
Google Nexus device, Nexus 6. And the
rumours receive greener light by the day as the year draws closer to the last
quarter which usually marks the timing for the launch of the previous Nexus
devices.
If
you have really being following technological trends especially the rumours
about smartphones release, you will agree with me that these days there are
actually no smoke without fire.

For
the reportedly on-going Nexus 6 project, this time around Google has picked yet
another company to accomplish the project and it is no longer LG company but Motorola is the team partner for the
Google Nexus 6 device project.
The
Google Nexus 6 Motorola this time around codenamed Shamu and also called the Nexus
X is most likely slated for the last quarter of this year, maybe the
beginning of November.
Full
details of the features of this latest Nexus device is still very sketchy at
this point as all we are able to lay our hands on is that the Nexus 6 might
likely feature a 5.5 inches QHD display with a resolution of 2560 X 1440, 32GB
of internal memory and 3GB RAM, then this time around with a 64 bit chipset
that will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7GHz krait 450
processor with the Adreno 420 GPU.
Now
going by the rumoured timing of the device, you might again witness a new Nexus
device that will once again most probably launch a new and latest Google
Android OS in the making, Android L which
will replace Android Kit Kat.
Finally, with the understanding the Nexus 6 device might be unveiled in later part of the year; it put to an end the earlier rumours about Google plan to discontinue the Nexus line of devices.
