Microsoft latest Windows 10 buzz continues after a sudden leap of 9
Microsoft
Windows 10 is new and fresh, it is the latest Windows Operating system recently
announced in a small event held on Tuesday in San Francisco.
Microsoft
Windows fan across the globe are still excited with the announcement of Windows 10 which appear to give them
sigh of relieve on their not so cherished Windows
8.
Hey, what a surprise!
But where is Windows 9?
Yes you can
call it a leap of fate or surprise coming from Microsoft because everybody was
looking out for Windows 9, having
the previous versions as Windows 8
and 8.1 but Microsoft this time
around decided to skip the 9 and headed straight to double digit Windows 10.
Originally
codenamed Windows Threshold, this
time around it seems Microsoft had dual design option in mind and probably why
they headed for the double.

Remember the
Windows 8 project was seen more or
less a fiasco in Microsoft line of the Windows Operating System, having
garnered much criticism for itself ever since its inception in October 2012.
Though
Microsoft admitted its error in the Windows 8 project but had lot of good
prospect for Windows 8, after which the former and most popular Windows 7 User Interface (UI) was
completely transformed into Tiled Metro UI in Windows 8 thereby making it
mostly suitable for touch screen devices.
But the
criticism on Windows 8 even became heavy when Microsoft deliberately left out
the Start menu button not knowing
that the famous Start button was
more of a treasure to most Windows users.

One can say
here that it is definitely too late to
cry when the head is cut off, and even on Microsoft attempt to fully bring back the Start button
and set other things right with Windows
8.1, it still did not augur well
for Windows users as they still miss their Windows 7 feelings.
But this
time around, Microsoft has decided to take a leap of fate by going double digit
and skipping Windows 9 to set things right in Windows 10, which can still be
considered more for now as Windows 10
Beta as it is yet to be fully developed.
But die-hard
Windows fans who prefer things hot as they come are giving the full opportunity
to taste the Windows 10 on their devices from now till sometimes in Mid next
year when the full retail software will be completely developed.
They are
allowed to do so by joining the Microsoft set aside Windows Inside Program where they can easily download what is
termed the Windows 10 Technical Preview.
Now with the
Windows 10 here, it is set to harmonize the missing Windows 7 features and the
touch prospect of Windows 8 together thereby giving it a classic Windows
feeling.
The main
idea here with Windows 10 is its capability to automatically adjust and change
its interface mode, i.e. the software will be able to easily detect when you
are using certain applications and will automatically adjust to that mode that
gives you exclusive user experience to what you are doing at that moment.
Then
finally, for Windows phone, it will follow the Windows 10 steps but Microsoft
is yet to divulge what the next generation of Windows Mobile Operating System
will fully look like.
