And as you
should already know that our interest for the day lies on the post boosting
method of advertising and so we will be treating that in details.
How do you boost a post on Facebook
with 1$ to reach wider audience?
= =>
First thing first, for you to boost a particular post from your blog or website
to wider audience on Facebook, you will need to be on PC (Desktop version) and
have a Facebook fan page. If you
don’t have one already, you can easily create one by logging into your Facebook
account on a PC and locating the create page link, then fill up the necessary
details.
= => Now
you have a Facebook page, create a
very catchy short message (Advert message) relating to the post that you want
to boost with link to the post. Make sure you have a very nice and big enough
image related to the post; because statistics show that post boost with nice,
clear images attract better attention.
Don’t miss: Is Google Adsense overrated?
*Note* After creating your advert message on your Facebook page,
before posting it, immediately you insert the link to the post that you are
boosting, image to the post drops down with an embedded link to the post, now
to keep your post clean, endeavor to delete the initial link to the post, as the
image will now serve the purpose.
= => When
you have posted the advert message on your Facebook page, you will now see Boost Post option just below the right corner of it, just click on the Boost Post option to initiate the post
boost process (Ads manger window pops up).
There in the
pop window is where you will now choose your targeting audience and set up your
budget, so let’s ride on.
= => For
optimal performance, from the Audience
section in the ads manager window, click the drop down menu and choose the
second option that says “People you choose through targeting”, when you do
that, Facebook will now load the default Audience setting consisting of Name of
Audience, Country, gender age limits and Others.

Now it is time to edit it to suit your
purpose, by clicking on the edit default
audience link just beneath.
*For the Name of audience area, just choose any
unique name that best describes your targeted audience.
*then choose
a country by typing in the name of
the country in the space provided, at this point it is preferable to target
only one country since you are operating on a low budget, you can even narrow
it down to state or cities by selecting states or cities from the menu, but a country is just OK for now for better
performance.
*Coming down
to age, you can leave the default
age which is set at 18 to 65+, depending on your content, you can
even bring the age down say from 15 to
65+, because these days, even kids
are internet expert.
*Then in the
gender section, choose all i.e. both Men and Women.
*Come down
to interest; this is very important, it is like keywords or categories,
that best describe the contents you are boosting, you can choose 2 or 3 or more
separated by commas
= => Now
coming down to maximum budget, the
default lowest budget that you will see is either $20.00 or $5.00 but you can edit that manually, so
just edit it and input $1.00, it
will then load your estimated audience reach for that amount which can range
from 1,500 to 4,000 depending on targeted country.
= =>
Coming down to the default currency,
the USD is Ok, so skip that and go
down to Number of days drop down
menu, click and choose 1 day. This is the number of day(s) your post ads will
be served.
= => Come
down now and click on the boost
option to take you to next and final stage of your campaign set up where you
will now add your payment details.
= => In
the Add Payment Method Window,
choose the credit card radio button, then select your card type (MasterCard
preferably for this tutorial), fill in the required credit card details in
their various spaces then come down and click on Submit option.
