How to Easily Detect a Cloned/Fake Samsung Android Smartphone
Sometimes,
it becomes almost impossible for one to detect a cloned or fake Samsung phone
by just looking at its physical appearance or features.
In fact, a
well cloned Samsung device looks more like an exact replica of the original one and many phone users have fallen
victims of these cloned devices, thinking that it was original device they got
for themselves.
But after following what we have for you below, you should be able to detect cloned/fake Samsung devices easily.
But after following what we have for you below, you should be able to detect cloned/fake Samsung devices easily.
Now,
starting from the price tag of that Samsung that you want to get for yourself,
you should know that Samsung are well known for their high end varieties of
devices than mid-range and low-range devices, therefore if you see a Samsung
phone that cost far lower than expected, then it should immediately start
ringing in your mind that you are going in for the fake.
Ok, let’s now
assume that the bad seller truly wants to outsmart you and he/she is offering
the cloned device to you at the same price with the original one.

If you lay
your hands on such devices and you really want to know if it is cloned or
original, by now you should know or try to remember that original Samsung
devices have unique service codes that
wen dialled brings up something but with cloned devices those codes are usually
not responsive.
Examples of
some of the original Samsung service codes are *#197328640# for Service
Mode, *#0*# for Samsung test modes and *#232331# for Samsung Bluetooth
test mode.
Finally, if
you are still sceptical of the authenticity of that Samsung device, you can
detect it perfectly from the device chipset.
Samsung
devices System on Chips (SOC) are mostly Qualcomm
Snapdragon or their self-manufactured Exynos
chipset, and any other thing away from those two will definiely point a cloned
Samsung device.
For
instance, wherever you see Samsung android phone with MTK chipset, you should know that it is purely cloned and you can
easily check if a phone is MTK or comes with other chipsets.
