We Once Love You: Goodbye Microsoft Internet Explorer
In the 90’s,
Microsoft Internet Explorer was like
the only browser that will exist throughout the ages of time and then,
mentioning Internet Explorer was synonymous to calling a Browser.
But what we
understand today is that with the current spate of technological advancement,
if a company cannot meet up with its products in the stiff competition that
abounds, then withdrawing such products or better still reinforcing becomes the
only next option.
Microsoft
Internet Explorer no doubt saw a better browser like Firefox and Google Chrome and took a bow.
In no time,
the name Microsoft Internet Explorer
browser will be history as Microsoft is completely set to nail the coffin in
Internet Explorer as it announces the replacement of the once dominant browser
in its new Windows 10 project arriving this summer.
In other
words, Microsoft is finally dumping its long famous browser Internet Explorer
for a better project.
Upcoming
Windows 10 and future Windows OS will no longer feature Internet Explorer but
will witness a new Microsoft Browser currently codenamed Project Spartan.
Project Spartan will be integrated with an
intelligent assistant Cortana, which
is capable of responding to voice command, similar to what is obtainable in
Google and Apple Siri.

The names Project Spartan and Cortana are coined from the popular Microsoft
Halo Video games where both are super warriors and Project Spartan will run on
all Microsoft Windows 10 projects both on desktop PC and mobiles.
With this current
move, Microsoft will be expecting to make a bounce back with its browser
product offerings to millions of Windows users across the globe.
