Everybody Takes Phones to India
If you have
been observing the world smartphone markets, you must have noticed that
smartphones OEM are shifting attention to Indian markets.
The reason
for that is not farfetched as Indian is now the world fastest growing
smartphone market and a viable business destination for every item that looks
like a smartphone.
Little wonder
that every smartphone OEM now sees the Indian smartphone markets as the new gold
rush, away from China and are doing all they can to open up smartphone
manufacturing facilities in the world 2nd most populous nation.
The latest
amongst the numerous smartphone OEM across the globe that are seeking for deep
presence in the Indian smartphone market is the Chinese number 1 smartphone
makers Xiaomi that have opened up a
manufacturing plant in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
Presently,
India is the 3rd world largest markets for smartphones quickly
trailing the United State of America and China still occupies the top spot.
But analysts
have predicted that in two years’ time from now that the Indian smartphone markets
will outgrow that of the US and end up positioning itself in the 2nd
place behind China.
Samsung
products still remains the largest selling smartphones in India just above
Indian home-made Micromax devices.
