I know that
some of you, especially the football lovers, might also want to know that on
how many MB data that it will take you to stream a full 90 minutes football
match with your android football streaming apps.
Many do think
that it often requires huge amount of mobile data to the tune of 1GB and above
for one to achieve a good quality HD stream of a full 90 minutes football game with
android streaming apps.
But by the
time you finish reading this, you will get to understand or know the amount of
data that you will actually need to achieve such stream.
In as much
as there are lots of factors that will determine the amount of MB data that
will be required to stream a full football match, especially that of video and
graphics quality of the stream, we are going to be presenting on average bases the
required amount of MB data needed for a good
quality HD football stream.
For example, while using your android football
streaming apps like Modbro, SportsTV, Olweb TV and other similar apps.
For those
that are using limited mobile data as against unlimited Wifi data for streaming
on their android, knowing the average amount of MB data that will be required
to stream your favourite live sports, movies, music videos etc. will go a long
way helping you to conserve data usage and also make you understand how much you
throw around on internet data service within any given period.
Now, without
further ado, here is what you should know concerning the amount of mobile data that
you will need for streaming a full 90 min football game on your android with
those apps mentioned above.
Using those football
streaming apps on your android, you should be expecting to consume about 70 to 90mb of data for the first 45 min half of the football game.
If you
decide to pause the stream after the first half and wait for the second half of
the game to continue streaming, without streaming the commercials and the after
half time commentaries of the game, then you should expect another 70 to 90mb for the second 45minutes of the game.
With that,
the total 90minutes football game sums up to about 140mb to 180mb of good
quality HD streams.
In other
words, with at least 200mb of mobile
data on your android phone, you should be able to stream full 90minutes of any
of your favourite live football matches with any of those android football streaming
apps and be rest assured that you will enjoy all the actions as they happen
without running out of data.

ReplyDeleteI used mobdoro it used almost 500mb😞
ReplyDeleteYa, Mobdro uses approximately 5mb per minute. So it's normally 450mb - 600mb.
DeleteIs. They a way of reducing that amount of data
ReplyDeleteOnly if you compromise below 1080i or 1080p, and use a resolution lower than HD, like 720p or even use 480p any lower than 480p probably not worth the time anyway.
Deletewhat consumes data the most on mobdro?

ReplyDeleteDoes this seem right and if so how do I lower my usage. I'm watching BT sports through the app on my tv. I'm the only user of my my EE dongle.
ReplyDeleteGame started @ 20:00 I had 169.4gb.
At 20:23 I had 165.4gb.
At 20:39 I had 164.9gb and at 20:46 I had 164.4gb left.
At this rate I will only get to watch 1/4 of the games I expected for my 200gb allowance, although some sites/store said watching a full game on BT sports only used around 5gb, ive used more than that the 1st half, cheers
