Blackberry Priv Now Up For Pre-order With Confirmed Specs
This is no
longer time for specs rumour of the Blackberry first ever android device, as
the world has already come to terms that Blackberry has joined the league of
android device makers by coming up with its first ever slider android device
known as Blackberry Priv.
And not only
that the real specs of the Blackberry Priv has been confirmed, UK becomes the first country in which
the device is now up for pre-order via a UK retailer Carphone Warehouse.
Unlike the
UK customers, those in the US and Canada can only sing up for notification
purpose on the day that the device will be available in their locations.
Carephone
Warehouse listed the device and included the first official video of Blackberry
Priv specifications which were still in line with most of the unofficial and
rumoured android specs of the device that have characterized most media outlets.
Off course,
Blackberry combined its prioritised known security features into the device
with famous and prolific android apps nature that Blackberry lacks, thereby
making Blackberry Priv appear more like a hybrid device.
The major
specs of the 5.4inches Blackberry device includes its whopping 2560 X 1440pixel
screen resolution with processor that is packed with hexa core Qualcomm MSM8992
Snapdragon 808 chipset.
The internal
memory is of the 32GB ROM which can bve expanded externally with MicroSD card
to 200GB.
Other normal
blackberry devices are always known to fall short in camera pixels but Priv
features a tremendous back shutter of 18MP,
with a not impressive front facing camera of only 2MP.
The sliding keyboard
features will no doubt produce a unique look and feel as it combines the
physical keys with normal android capacitive touchscreen.
The battery
as we know is 3410mAh Li-ion type and the price of the device without any form
of contract attached is definitely not for the lighted pocketed as it goes for $895.

Now there is
a major twist here with this latest and first Blackberry android device; the
Blackberry Priv will either make up or finally break up Blackberry entirely as
a phone manufacturing company.
According to Blackberry CEO John Chen, if Blackberry Priv falls short to meet up with the minimum targeted 5million sell out within the first calendar year after release, then Blackberry might finally be en-route to bidding farewell to smartphones production and they will rather concentrate on their new found love for software development niche.
