Did You Also Get This Message On Your MTN Line? If You Did, See What To Do
Many MTN
users yesterday were almost heartbroken when they began receiving messages from
SIM REG that requested them to still
go ahead to validate their registration to NCC standard.
People were
outraged after receiving the message especially those that have registered and
validated their MTN SIMs countless number of times recently.
In fact as
result of that, many MTN users are beginning to threaten that they will port their
MTN line to other networks and that they are tired of always going to MTN
offices to do the same thing over and over again.
No doubt that
these types of messages can easily send fear to customers on the network as nobody
will want to wake up one day and hear that the MTN line that they have been
using over the decade has been blocked.
Must Read: Glo 3GB at N500 and 1GB at N200
And also the
rigorous process that involves long queues and time wastage on the course of
visiting MTN offices for continuous registration are some of the things that
people on the network don’t even want to come in terms with.
Below is the
full image of the text message from SIM REG on MTN SIMs,
But the
question now is; if there is truly something to worry about on the reception of
that message?
The message
seemed as computer generated message which was made in error, so you can check
your full SIM registration status by dialling the code *789# with your MTN line.
But if you
are interested in the potential bonus airtime of N10,000 or N20,000 that could
be given to you just to update your SIM registration as required, if you also
received the message, you can therefore locate any MTN office closest to you
with the required document to update your SIM registration.
