How Long Will It Take To Charge A 30000mAh Power Bank Fully?

When you are staying in a country like ours where constant power supply is still a mirage, then you will understand the full need of supplementary power source like power bank to keep your phone on constantly.

And these days, power banks with low battery capacity like 2000mAh, 5000mAh or even 10000mAh most times don’t use to be enough to keep your phone on for long time as many of them can only afford to charge your phone fully only once, and hence the need for heavy duty power bank like that of 30000mAh that can charge your phone fully several times.

Today, our major concern is to let you know how long it will normally take a fully discharged 30000mAh power bank to charge up to full capacity.

Having made use of several brands/types and still using power banks with 30000mAh battery capacity, you are rest assured to be hearing from the horse’s mouth.

We are going to be speaking from a general note here, so we are going to neglect all other factors like brands or types of power bank and type of charger used that can play some little role in determining how long it will take a 30000mAh power bank to charge fully.

Now, unlike many modern phones that do come with quick charge technology, power banks on the other hand are not yet being built with such technology and thus it takes quite a long time for you to fully charge a 30000mAh power bank.

For you to fully charge a completely discharged 30000mAh power bank, you should be looking at leaving it plugged for straight 10hrs.

On a final note here and  what I want you to understand is that, if the power bank is newly bought and have not yet been charged, the first time charging to full capacity normally takes longer time and will take about 14hours to 16hours but the subsequent discharging and charging is what takes about 10hrs.

  1. In 2015/2016 that seems like a bit of an academic discussion to me. Get one of Elon Musk's new-fangled Tesla home batteries. That ought to keep your phone running for a few years!
