I've read somewhere that I can have blocked numbers hung up on after a few rings (which I won't hear, seeing as the blocked numbers go unnoticed to me once I block them) so that blocked numbers also can't leave a voicemail. Is this correct?
ReplyDeleteOn My android Micromax E484 mobile phone same procedure was as detailed above was exercised, yet I receive calls and SMS text from the numbers I have blocked. I do not know why, Is there any revelant step that is missing here? Like registering CM security or any other....
ReplyDeleteHi Alza,
DeleteJust repeat the process for one more time and it should also work for you.
Do have a great day!
Hello Edwin Akwudolu!
ReplyDeleteThank you for responding, Have repeated the process and Call ID can be blocked and calls as well but SMS are never blocked, had manually entered each number after view details in SMS blocker section. They still turn out into the Inbox. Can any procedure is there to block this mishap? Or do we have to rely on another program.
Enjoy your life... be blessed for helping.

Hi Alza,
DeleteWe noticed same for the SMS part, but we will be providing an alternative for that shortly.
Hello Edwin Akwudolu!
DeleteThank you again for responding, I was under the impression my phone was at fault and was about to deliver to the service centre or a nearby vendor for resolution. I am relieved to note that this issue was not confined to my phone alone but is prevalent generally.
I use CM security as this had been bundled with the software when I had bought the phone. Am rather annoyed the caller application must have blocking facility of its own instead of relying on another program, similar is the case with messaging application as well. These blocking feature is not a luxury anymore but an indispensable necessity. Yet they are left behind.
CM security comes with several features do they function duly?? Frankly I do not use many of these, however Thank you very much for all the help and assistance and your endeavor is well appreciated.

Caller will hear a ringtone then get rejected. Why can't block calls without any ringtone so that caller will nnmot know they've been blocked.
ReplyDeleteI deem that it may be since the blocking application is different from the caller application.
DeleteMy earlier phone Sony Ericsson had the same facility in the caller application and would block calls instantaneously without any rings. Once i had changed to these smart phones these issues surfaced.
The Android operating system, if, had developed an application with blocking facility this impediment would have resolved. On the contrary, if you are inquisitive to know whose call had been blocked , then a ring and a silence will certainly herald, a blocked call. Therefore, i suggest to use an application which has the above function of blocking rather than relying on an another.
