Life Without A Smartphone In 2016!
Have you
ever imagined life without a smartphone in 2016?
In as much
as we have in the past written about how to curb smartphone excesses, but now
turning the other way round, what do you think life without a smartphone in
this jet age will truly look like?
Undoubtedly,
the emergence of smartphone has become one of the most essential things that
has ever happened to humanity, especially in this our generation.
Unlike
before when the primary purpose of using a phone was to make/receive calls and
send out 160 character text messages, now the introduction of smartphones have
shifted the primary functions of phones into a world of whole new
possibilities.
The importance
of smartphones in today’s world cannot be overemphasized; from carrying out
real time businesses to fun activities to security checks, not to mention thousands
of phone applications being developed on daily bases to cater for almost all
our needs in all walks of our life.
It will be
practically impossible now for anybody to be able to highlight or list out all
the functions of smartphones.
You can be
rest assured that just as human wants are unlimited; the functional
applications of smartphones in our daily lives are as well unlimited.
Some might
be tempted to compare life without a smartphone in 2016 to a life in Hell!
Gone are the
days when telling somebody that he/she is a phone addict makes them feel very uncomfortable;
but now, saying that to some persons might well be taken as compliment, especially
for those who strictly rely on their smartphones for business and daily bread.
Even with
the negative effects associated with phone usage excesses, it will still be unbelievable
to hear that smartphones have not impacted users positively in one way or the
other, otherwise, why use smartphone if it is all about the negativities.
Finally we
want to round off this editorial by asking; what truly will life look like for
you without a smartphone in 2016?
