Ntel Extravaganza, Promises Free On-net Calls For Life To First 100,000 Subscribers

After long waiting, 4G LTE and 5th major GSM network provider in the country, Ntel finally launches in two major cities of Abuja and Lagos on the 8th of April 2016.

In an Ntel extravaganza held yesterday in Lagos, Ntel is promising lots of free bumper packages for those who will come in first to make use of their services.

The early bird they say catches the worm and for that, Ntel is said to be offering the first 100,000 subscribers’ free on-net calls for life and not only that they will also be getting free 3 months of unlimited data usage on selected bundles.

With its Long Term Evolution network, Ntel is also promising subscribers up to 230mb/s data connectivity speed.

This will be the first phase of Ntel planned commercial activities in the country ever since its acquisition of the defunct NITEL/Mtel Company.

Aside Abuja and Lagos, other cities will come in later stages as Portharcourt is set to be next city where Ntel will be launching their services come May next month.

But one thing you should bear in mind here is that the services being promised will surely come with terms of services.

For example as can be seen in Ntel TOS, the 230mb/s data connectivity speed, at some data volume (3GB) usage will be throttled to 512kb/s, and so on.

Now, here is what we already made out from Ntel call and data freebies;

If Ntel fails to extent the free bumper offers when it will be launching in other cities, it will imply that the 100,000 early birds that is going to be benefiting from these offers will only be Lagos and Abuja residence.

In all, the entrant of Ntel is a welcome development as it is going to stir up further competition in the telecom industry, which can in turn lead to enhanced and better service delivery by other partakers.
