Telegram Latest Update Now Allows You Edit Sent Messages

Another popular and fast growing mobile chat app Telegram has released their latest updates which now allows users edit their messages after the have sent it.

This is one very nice feature that the likes of Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Wechat and others still lack.

Imagine a situation when you have just typed your message and sent it, coming back to look at your sent message and you now notice that there are some embarrassing typos in it.

With the latest Telegram updates, you can now retrieve, edit the typos and resend without feeling of any guilt again to your errors.

To edit already sent message on the latest Telegram updates, all you need do is to hold on to the sent message to see the edit option; simple tap on the edit option, correct your mistakes and then resend the message.

After that, Telegram will insert “edit” label just on the message it to signify that it is an edited message.

Other features included in the new update is the ability to mention other users on a group chat and also an enhanced search list that enables you search for people easier.

To mention people on a group chat, just add the “@” symbol to bring up a menu list of people on the group and then select whoever you want to mention, Telegram will send out the notification to that person.

Finally for the enhanced search list, when trying to search through, Telegram will list out the people that you have communicated with most recently.
