Xiaomi Wants To Fly, Set To Launch Drones On The 25th Of This Month
At the mention
of Xiaomi, the one question that is most likely to be found on the lips of many
is; which is the next smartphone that Xiaomi is about to launch?
But this
time around and yes you read the topic very well and you are not dreaming
because you heard Xiaomi Drone; it
is that Drone that you know that US normally use in surveillance and rescue
mission that Xiaomi is set to launch and not a smartphone codenamed Drone.
Surprise!! We
guess…
Yes it
sounds quite surprising that Xiaomi is launching a Quadcopter (Drone) soonest,
to be precise on the 25th of this month in China, because Xiaomi is
a company that is not known for manufacturing of surveillance and warfare
equipment, but what more can we say when necessity has always being the mother
of invention, just as varieties also spice up live.
By such
move, we can easily say that Xiaomi is a big company trying to diversify its
line of businesses and maybe also trying to prove some points.
Though the
rumours of Mi Drone have been flying around for quite some times now, but not
until Xioami Drone was officially confirmed in Xiaomi Weibo platform that the
rumours were laid to rest.
Well at this
point, unlike smartphones, Drone specifications are quite difficult to
speculate on, and Xioami also did not give any hint on what the Drone will be
made of, but if asked to speak, the Mi Drone will spot a highly sophisticated
camera that can record 4k quality video and as expected like every other
Drones, Mi Drone will be capable of flying and carrying out surveillance and
rescue mission.
Finally, Xiaomi might be targeting some particular market-segments with their first Quadcopter.
