I Cannot Download With My Airtel 2GB For N200 And 6GB For N500 Data Plans, Here Is A Simple Fix

It has come to our notice that some of the Airtel subscribers that are currently on the Airtel 2G network data plans of 2GB for N200 and 6GB for N500 have been complaining of not being able to download with their data plans.

Aside from the slow network complaint of the 2GB plans, which we have been able to tackle considerably on easy way to increase speed of airtel 2G network data plans, the other complaint is that they can browse but cannot download with the plan.

And after detailed scrutiny on why you have been unable to download with the Airtel 2G data plans, we were able to fish out the culprit.

If you are also unable to download with your Airtel 2G network data plans, but can only browse with it, here is a very simple fix to that so you can start downloading with it.

The reason why you are unable to download with it is because of your APN settings.

Now here is it, we are in 2016 already and even though Airtel network emanated from Zain, it is now time you have to forget and leave out the old Zain name on your APN and embrace only the current, recognized and working airtel name.

Those of you that are unable to download, just go to your APN settings and you will mostly notice that your APN is still set to internet.ng.zain.com, now the simple thing you should do is to change that old APN to internet.ng.airtel.com and again if you have anything on the proxy address and port field, simply clear them off and leave those lines empty.

If you apply this simple fix, you will start browsing and downloading again as if tomorrow will never come.
