MTN Cheap Pulse Night Data Plan Of N25 For 500MB Is Over

It is no longer news that NCC has directed the major GSM network operators in the country to increase data tariffs starting from the 1st day of December 2016.

And in answer to the NCC call, the GSM operators have been sending out series of notification messages to their subscribers, informing them of the planned increase.

But even before the 1st of December that the planned increase in data rate is scheduled to take effect, some telecoms have already started suspending some of their cheap data plans.

And the latest in action now is that MTN has now officially suspended the MTN Pulse night data plan of N25 for 500, as subscribers that tried subscribing to the data plan for the past two nights, instead of their subscription to be activated, they have only ended up been greeted with the message notifying them of the suspension.

Currently, there is a widespread protest against this planned increase in data tariff across the country and the masses have called upon the senate to intervene.
