See How Much Revenue Facebook Generated In The Whole Of 2016

The number one online social media platform Facebook has not stopped growing in user base and annual revenue ever since it was made public, as Facebook this new month of February has taken it upon them to announce their last year’s Q4 revenue and the total revenue for 2016.

With the indication that in Q4 of 2016 only, Facebook accrued whopping revenue of $8.51billion from which it recorded $3.56billion in profit, amounting to 51 per cent increase from previous year and also surpassing analysts’ 46 per cent projection.

Thanks to Facebook mobile advertising platform, this forms the bulk of the shares that brought in about 84 per cent of the total revenue in the Q4 of last year.

In totality, 2016 saw Facebook revenue standing at about $27.6billion, showing a very sharp increase from previous year where its revenue stood at about $17.93billion.

Also it is reported that Facebook users are increasing at geometric progression with over 1.23billion people making use of the platform daily and with more than 90 percent accessing the platform daily via mobile devices.

With the current growth rate of Facebook users, it is projected that by the middle of 2017, Facebook will hit 2billion active monthly users.
