The Worrisome Springing Up Of Numerous Online Ponzi Schemes In The Country After MMM Reign
Last year being 2016 saw the Nigerian cyber space thrown into frenzy with the incoming of the popular MMM Nigeria Ponzi Scheme that recorded almost 3 million participants after 1 year of launching.
Though initially many saw MMM Nigeria as the Messiah and as avenue to turn around their financial status for better, but the only thing that they failed to understand is that Ponzi scheme will forever remain Ponzi scheme, and in all Ponzi schemes, there are no guarantees.
However, now that MMM Nigeria is almost on its shadow of itself, the worrisome condition that MMM Nigeria has given birth to is the springing up of different and numerous Ponzi scheme in the country’s cyber space with most of them now geared towards directly swindling many unsuspecting individuals off their heard earned cash.
With all indications, this year, the Nigeria cyber space will be populated with more Ponzi schemes even before we get to the 3rd quarter of 2017, and in fact it has already started happening and all thanks to the ideology most of them borrowed from MMM Nigeria scheme.

Now, even before you type the letter ‘P’ in Google search engine, you have been presented with a new Ponzi scheme and they kept on springing up every now and then; we can go as far as listing out more than 50 Ponzi schemes that have already sprung up from January this year to this moment and with most of them going into oblivion almost immediately after launching.
Just to mention but a few; we have Paydonor, o-give, Double-cash, unity-donation, Kaynation, Cashblaze, Paydoubler, Finhike, Somapay, Joyfuldonor, Springcash and the list goes on as more are to be launched.
Even as we are drafting this article, we believed that some are being launched or on the verge of launching and the numbers keep counting.
The new condition that the Nigerian cyber space has found itself with populated Ponzi schemes is highly worrisome and it is now a wakeup call to all Ponzi scheme investors to clear up the scales in their eyes and to know that the current crops of Ponzi schemes are mainly launched to swindle, and they are high risk schemes.
