Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) is one of the leading commercial banks in Nigeria, and over the years it has attracted many banks customers to itself more than many other banks in the country, and this was as a result of the believe that GTB offers excellent banking services and are ahead of most other commercial banks.
But recently, you might have noticed that GTB is now always in the news for the bad reason making many believe that their glorious days are quickly getting behind them.
Carrying out E-transactions such as internet banking, mobile banking or ATM with GTB seems to becoming more or less a bottleneck to bank customers as the rate in which these customers now complain about poor services delivery by GTB is becoming more worrisome by the day.
Delayed fund transfer delivery transactions, GTB ATM constant failure, inability to transfer to GTB bank accounts are few among numerous other complaints that are no longer uncommon among GTB customers and almost turning into norm with GTB banking operations.
The most recent and more frustrating is the recent inability of most GTB customers to carry out any smooth transactions throughout this Easter holiday period, and for that reason, they have all come out in mass to voice out their total dissatisfaction with GTB recent loss of form at excellent banking services delivery.
GTB customers have gone further to even question the need of GTB E-channels of banking services when it now brings only but frustration anytime they try using those E-channels, most times without success.

For many, it was hell for them this holiday trying to use GTB E-channels for their transactions as many of their attempts proved abortive; whether trying to use GTB ATM card on GTB ATM or trying to transfer fund from other banks ATM to a GTB account, most attempts ended a fiasco.
During the holiday, out of the commercial banks operating in the country, why is it now GTB that is recording most of the failed and disappointing transactions amidst already growing fears and speculations that GTB is becoming synonymous to poor service delivery?
Time is ticking and if GTB on their part fails to address these rearing-up ugly situations on time by returning back to their first class status quo, then their ranking might fall in no time and they might end up losing many of their customers to other banks.

I taught i was the only one that had issues with them o, infact the worse aspect of all is that, i could not run my budgeted fb ads over the weekend, and it convert the most on weekend, bcos gtb won't allow me to successfully use my GTB Token, which have always been using before to fund my PayU Account for facebook ads, they are really killing Businesses with this their poor service thing.
