Telegram Now Allows You Create A Group With Up To 10,000 Members

The fiercest Whatsapp chat messaging app Telegram has introduced a new update to their messaging app that now allows users create a supergroup that can take in up to 10,000 members.

Prior to now Telegram Super group can only contain 5,000 members but in the new Telegram 4.1 upgraded version, the number is now doubled.

Aside from accepting more members in supergroup of the new upgraded version of Telegrams, other important tweaks and features were also introduced, especially on how admin or creator of Telegram groups manages the group.

A creator of a Telegram group now has the power to appoint admins with specific rights. He/she can now choose who can add users, block members, manage messages, edit group info etc.

Also creator and admins of group can now restrict and ban members of super groups with specific rights. For example, they can now temporarily ban members, hand them read-only bans, ban them from sending GIFs and other media files etc.

Before now, there was no specific search member feature on Telegram group but with this latest update, one can easily perform a specific search on any member of the group by using the newly introduced search feature on the member area, which can be accessed by tapping on the top area of the group.

The new Telegram update also allows one to display images and videos together when sharing from the attached menu or gallery.
