MTN Secretly Expunged Cheapest Call Tariff Plan, Replaced It With Already Existing Pulse Plan
Sometimes last year, MTN introduced two call tariff plans, the MTN Xtra Pro, which was the cheapest MTN call tariff plan and the MTN Xtra Special tariff plan.
You could recall that the MTN Xtra pro offers MTN subscribers the ability to make calls to all networks in the country at a flat rate of 11K/S (N6.60K/Min) after N5 deduction in a day and which was deducted ones only when customers initiate a chargeable call for the day, and thereby making the MTN Xtra Pro the cheapest MTN call tariff plan in all ramifications.
But the sad news is that MTN secretly removed the MTN Xtra Pro call tariff plan from the list of its available call tariff plans, which directly implies that the MTN cheapest call tariff plan is no longer available for subscription as customers can no longer migrate to the MTN Xtra Pro tariff plan.
However, for those MTN customers that migrated into the plan and have not migrated out when the plan was existing, they will still retain the plan and continue to enjoy the lowest call rate value it offers, but once they decide to opt out from their existing MTN Xtro Pro plan by migrating to other plan, they will no longer be able to migrate the Xtra Pro plan.
Finally, before now, the code for migrating into the MTN Xtra Pro tariff plan was *401#, but if you now decide to dial the code and hoping to migrate to the Xtr Pro plan, you will only end up getting a prompt to migrate to the already existing MTN Pulse tariff plan, which we all know that the rightful migration and Pulse menu code is *406#
