The First Set Of Smartphones To Run Full Android 8 Oreo Are Launching Today

And yes today is Google’s day, the highly awaited Google Hardware Event 2017 is slated for today Wednesday 4 2017 and the event would be starting by 12noon in San Francisco (5PM UTC)

And the highlight of the event would surely be the launching of the world's first smartphones to run full built out of the box Google android 8 Oreo OS and which would be the second version of Google phone, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Some leaks of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices have been making the round before now and the exciting features that would be making the difference from previous Pixel devices is that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL would be faster devices with the latest 

Snapdragon 835 processor and there would be 64GB/128GB variants.

We expect the display to be shielded with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Also as stated, they would be the first to run android 8 Oreo out of the box and we also expect improved battery capacity on both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Other hardware devices that would be expected to be unveiled alongside the Google Pixel devices are the Google Daydream View VR, Google WiFi router, Google Chromecast Ultra and host of other devices.
