Xiaomi is set to launch the new Xiaomi Redmi 5 together with its larger sized variants known as the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus on this year’s valentine day in, which is usually the 14 day of February and the launch will be done in India.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is an upgrade from last year’s Xiaomi Redmi 4 and it will now feature the trending 18:9 display and it will feature improved processor, better camera, improved battery life.
On the other hand the Xiaomi Redmi Plus as expected is the one with larger display and that would also feature improved processor, cameras and battery.
Invitation to the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus has already been sent to some tech media giants, and rumour has it that both devices might be rebranded as Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5.
As usual, you should be expecting upped prices against their predecessor since we are having a more modern and upgraded devices in many ramifications.
