to you that MTN has increased the TrueTalk Plus Call Tariff plan rate which
was recently meant to be MTN cheapest call tariff plan to compete with similar
tariff plan rates of Glo, Etisalat and Airtel.
MTN
subscribers across the country were saddened at the announcement of the increased
rate of True Talk call tariff plan by the supposedly the number one GSM network
provider in the country.
Normally,
the common thing is to hear that the call rate or price of particular call
tariff plan has been slashed down, but in this case it was the exact opposite.
MTN subscribers currently are now seeking for
the next and cheapest MTN call tariff plan that they will switch to, as MTN has
decided to spoil their show in the True Talk Plus plan.
Looking at
the other MTN call tariff plans available, and trying to compare their tariff
rate to those of other competing networks, you will be tempted to say that no
any other MTN call tariff plan is cheap again.

quick run-down of the remaining MTN call tariff plans rate aside from the True
Talk Plus that the rate has been increased from 11k/s (N6.60k/min) to 20k/s
(N12/min) and MTN Zone that has died a natural death.
We have the
normal MTN True Talk Plan which
charges 20k/s to MTN calls and 26k/s
(N15.60k/s) to other networks and that allows you to register up to 11 family and friends numbers that
charges 11k/s to those numbers.
Secondly is
the MTN iPulse plan that charges 15k/s to call all networks after the
first minute of call for the day at 40k/s
(N24/s) and 11k/s to call all
networks when the call is initiated from university or polytechnic campus.
The last MTN
plan here is the MTN Better Talk;
this particular plan gives you 200%
bonus airtime for any recharge of N100
and above but call rate are charged here at 40k/s flat to all networks.

all those tariff plans now, you will agree with me that none of them are cheap again
pertaining to what is obtainable before and with other networks.
