Whatsapp Finally Stopped Working On Blackberry Devices
After last year that Whatsapp announced that it will be ending support for blackberry devices from the beginning of this year, it was believed that the stoppage will be taking effect from 1st of January, 2017.
But 1st of January, 2017 came and Whatsapp was still working on blackberry devices and there came a rumour that the axing date for Whatsapp on blackberry devices has been extended till June.
At the time of filing this report, we want to inform you that as of this morning being the 18th day of January, that blackberry users across the globe woke up to get a shocker from Whatsapp as they tried to use the social chat media app on their device and they got the notification that reads;
“You can’t send messages to this chat because WhatsApp no longer supports this phone”
On the receipt of that message, many blackberry users felt highly disappointed and disheartening as what that now entails is that for them to continue making use of Whatsapp, they will now have to start thinking of getting another device away from blackberry that
Whatsapp is currently supporting; maybe an android device or iOS device would be the best option.
